Hold Baggage Screening
The challenge today is not to design a new terminal with integrated baggage screening facilities. The real challenge is
to design and conduct upgrades and updates of existing baggage handling systems, either in order to implement an inline
screening process, or to solve the problems due to required update of the screening technology. It is obvious that such
updates and upgrades have to be conducted in a live terminal.
Over the last years, we have conducted several HBS update and upgrade projects.
Increased Security and High Risk Security Processes
Over the last years the requirements regarding the security are increasing constantly. New screening standards become
mandatory, not only for new systems, but also for the existing.
What appears to be an upgrade project in some cases however is more than that.
CASE technologies has designed and was responsible for the realization of the most advanced baggage screening system
in the world. The level of baggage screening, the functionality and also the availability of the screening system exceeds
all common standards. On top of that, this system has been installed in an existing airport during live terminal operation.
Meanwhile we have designed High Risk Baggage Screening Systems for several airports.
Our service will be completed with our experience to design also the Passenger Security Gates.
